The Best Way To Understand Cars Is By Viewing Their Cutaways

A car essentially consists of two parts – the business end, meaning the shell, and what lies under it. Now it might not always be obvious by viewing the blueprints or even looking under the car to see how it all goes together. For this I believe that we have the marvelous “invention” of cutaways. Once you dig deep enough on the web, you might find some even more interesting ones than the ones presented here.  They might be the best way of seeing how the components of each particular vehicle work together and how they differ across various vehicles. And while things might seem a bit too obvious for us petrolheads, they might come in handy when trying to explain to your significant other why a 911 is totally different from an M3.
